A. 1.4 Sleep-wake regulation and the two-process model.
The two-process model of sleep regulation is one of the corner stones of how we think about sleep regulation. Established by professor Borbély and his research group, this model has guided both thinking and experimental efforts in sleep research laboratories. The interviews introduce professor Borbély’s views and present significance of the model, as well as vies from researchers, who have used the model as basis for their research.
The video explains the mathematical model and potential physiological background.
