* eSleep Europe 2023
Welcome Letter
Dear ESRS Members, Dear Sleep Colleagues and Partners.
It is with great excitement and honour that we welcome you to the second edition of eSleep Europe, the premier virtual scientific congress dedicated to advancing the science and practice of sleep health and research. Following the success of our 2023 congress, we are thrilled to return as co-chairs for this year’s event, eager to share in the knowledge, insights, and inspiration that await us all.
This year’s eSleep Europe congress brings together an exceptional lineup of experts, practitioners, and researchers across eight thematic tracks, each designed to explore the most pressing and pioneering developments in sleep science. Over the course of the year, we will present an ongoing congress, one speciality track at a time. Each track will delve into a dedicated area of sleep research, covering a wide array of topics ranging from the biology of sleep and circadian rhythms to sleep technology, clinical treatment strategies, and public health concerns. We hope these sessions inspire engaging discussions, foster collaborations, and provide novel insights that will enrich your work and research.
Our goal with eSleep Europe is to provide a platform where science and practical expertise converge to address the evolving challenges and emerging fields in sleep research and sleep medicine. As a fully virtual congress, we look forward to reaching an even wider global audience, allowing professionals from diverse fields and regions to participate, learn, and contribute. This inclusivity is vital to our mission, and it reinforces our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and accessibility in sleep science.
Together with our supporters and sponsors, we are proud to be able to offer participation in all eight tracks as a benefit of ESRS membership. We further extend this benefit to all of the ANSS national society members and the members of all supporting societies.
We look forward to welcoming you for eSleep Europe 2025. We are excited for what lies ahead and for the opportunity to make further strides in the field of sleep.
Kind Regards on behalf of the ESRS Board,
Erna Sif Arnardóttir
ESRS President & Chair of eSleep Europe 2025

Congress Chairs
The eSleep Europe Virtual Congress organised by the European Sleep Research Society will held its second edition in 2025. Building on the success of our 2023 event, this upcoming congress will be again an exclusive online event. We know your time and travel resources are limited and want to offer an accessible meeting where the decision to participate is not complicated. The vision for this virtual sleep congress is to allow a global participation, and to provide the opportunity for ESRS to spotlight the achievements of Europeans.
