BSS Two Day PSG Course 2026
March 25 - March 26

The BSS Two-Day PSG Course provides a comprehensive and practical introduction to polysomnography, designed to build both technical confidence and clinical understanding. Day 1 focuses on core foundations, beginning with an overview of PSG and hands-on training in AASM montage setup, filters, and bio-calibration. Participants will develop essential skills in artefact recognition, sleep stage identification, and the scoring of arousals, respiratory events, limb movements, and cardiac events. The day is highly interactive, with practical scoring sessions and opportunities for discussion, concluding with a summary and Q&A, followed by an informal social event to encourage networking.
Day 2 builds on this knowledge with more advanced and applied learning. Attendees take part in interactive sleep scoring sessions, gain insight into Multiple Sleep Latency Testing (MSLT), and learn best practice for writing clear and clinically useful PSG reports. The programme also covers paediatric sleep studies, parasomnias, and a range of clinical case studies, including follow-up treatments for respiratory disorders, periodic limb movements, and other NREM conditions. The course concludes with further interactive scoring, feedback, and a final Q&A, ensuring participants leave with practical skills they can confidently apply in clinical practice.
