Sleep Unit CIM-Sant Pau - Research Institute of Sant Pau Hospital

We are a young enthusiastic research sleep laboratory but with expertise in training in the field of Sleep Research and Sleep Medicine, with principal focus on Neuropsicopharmacology.
Our sleep unit is provided with two independent private bedrooms and 26 bedded ward.
There is trained specialized staff (physicians, psychologists, engineer, statisticien, pharmacists and nurses) with expertise to perform clinical trials from conception through to completion, including all aspects of trial design, recruitment management and data analysis according to the ethical principles and diagnostic standards. Sleep evaluations include different neurophysiological recordings (EEG, PSG, MSLT, MWT, actigraphy and pupillometry) as well as specific sleep scales and questionnaires. Psychometric and performance tests are regularly used. Longterm sleep studies are performed, including sleep deprivation protocols under continuous supervision. Within the unit, all logistic support facilities, including blood sample hadling are present.
