Dr. Ambra Stefani

Ambra Stefani is a neurologist and neuroscientist with a main research interest in restless legs syndrome (clinical, laboratory, and imaging-based characterization), isolated RBD (clinical, video-polysomnographic and biomarker characterization), and the link between sleep and neurodegeneration. Dr. Stefani completed her PhD in clinical neuroscience in Innsbruck, Austria, under the supervision of Prof. Birgit Högl, and spent 1.5 y as a postdoc in Boston, MA, USA, with Prof. Aleksandar Videnovic. She is president elect of the International RBD study group, and produced more than 150 peer-reviewed publications (H-index 39).
