Dr. Ding Zou

Ding Zou, PhD is a senior researcher at the Center for Sleep and Vigilance Disorders, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He received medical education in China and trained in cardiology. His research interests focus on cardiovascular and autonomic regulation during sleep, pharmacological treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, and clinical utility of physiological signals from sleep as an alternative method for sleep apnea endotyping and cardiovascular risk assessment.
He currently serves as vice president of the Swedish Sleep Research and Sleep Medicine Association (SFSS), and associate editor for Sleep and Breathing and Frontiers in Sleep. He has published over 60 original articles, reviews, book chapters, and e-books including “Novel Technologies in the Diagnosis and Management of Sleep-Disordered Breathing” series.
