President's Message November 2023
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
First of all, don’t forget that you can still access the content of our virtual meeting. I’m certain some of you may have missed a few of the presentations. You can use the following link to access them: eSleep Europe. Additionally, you still have the option to register for the meeting in case you missed it!
As we step into the final months of 2023, our focus now shifts towards the preparation for the 27th Congress of the European Sleep Research Society taking place in Seville, Spain from 24 – 27 September 2024. I encourage you to save the date and keep an eye on our website and social platforms for abstract submissions, registration and other updates on this prestigious event.
The Sleep Europe Symposium application period, which was extended due to popular demand, has concluded and left us pleasantly surprised. We received an unprecedented number of proposals (over 100), of exceptional quality. In the weeks ahead, the Scientific Committee will meticulously assess these submissions, and we look forward to reviewing the richness of sleep research that these proposals represent.
Finally, I am pleased to announce that the December issue of the Journal of Sleep Research (JSR) will be a special issue focused on Insomnia. To compliment this issue, the Chief Editor and Co-Authors of the Updated Guideline on Insomnia will host a webinar in early December.
Your dedication and support are crucial in advancing our understanding of sleep, and we appreciate your contributions. We’re excited about your participation in Sleep Europe 2024, and I look forward to seeing you at the December webinar.
