2023 ESRS Examination in Sleep Medicine
The ESRS Board is pleased to announce the 12th Examination of Certification in Sleep Medicine and the 10th Examination of Certification in Sleep Medicine for Sleep Technologists.
The 2023 ESRS Examination in Sleep Medicine is planned to take place as an online exam on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Who can apply?
ESRS accepts applications from physicians, psychologists, sleep scientists, physician assistants and sleep technologists from all over the world!
Please read the ESRS sleep medicine exam requirements before you apply.
- You have to be an ESRS member to be able to apply for the ESRS Examination in Sleep Medicine.
- You may select between the Examination specialities Sleep Technologist or Somnologist.
- You may only submit your application once but you can edit afterwards as often as you like during the 2 months application period.

- Participants may sit the examinations on-site on 30-September or online on 1-October
- The examination fee for the on-site edition is € 400.- EUR (included is a non-refundable 90.- EUR administration fee, payable on submission of the application)
- The examination fee for the online edition is € 600.- EUR (included is a non-refundable 90.- EUR administration fee, payable on submission of the application)
- The ESRS Board supports the examinations by offering six grants to support eligible examinees. Applications for this program will be accepted together with your application until January 31, 2022. For grant requirements please visit sleep examination grants page.
