Dr. Adelina Anton

Adelina Anton is an internal medicine specialist currently working in County Emergency Hospital of Tulcea, Romania, occupying this position since 2019. During her formation in Internal Medicine (2014 – 2019) she started to specialize in sleep medicine, therefore, in 2021, she has fulfilled a PhD related to sleep disorders at the University “Ovidius” of Constanta, Romania, studying “Predictive factors of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome”. Also, since 2017 till 2019 she obtained the position of university assistant at “University Ovidius”, Faculty of Medicine,  Constanta, Romania. Her main research area is related to obstructive sleep apnea and its cardio-metabolic consequences . 

In 2022 she started the Sleep Medicine Competency held by Romanian Society of Pneumology and in June 2023 she received a full scholarship for a postgraduate master on sleep-wake-circadian physiology, consciousness and related disorders, The International Master in Sleep Medicine held in collaboration with the University of Bern and the Università della Svizzera italiana.
