Dr. Maria Hrozanova, is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Public Health and Nursing, Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway.

Maria is a project leader in a nation-wide multicentre, pragmatic randomized controlled trial investigating the effectiveness of group-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia in primary care. She is also involved in a number of other ongoing trials on treating insomnia among patients with musculoskeletal pain in Norway and holds a particular interest in adolescent sleep.

She teaches the interdisciplinary team-based course ‘Sleep Well – Welfare technology for sustainable sleep health’. Maria is passionate about science communication and enjoys working with digital tools to visualize and simplify complex scientific concepts to facilitate accessibility for various stakeholders.
