Purbanka Pahari, M.E., Biomedical Engineer (sleep researcher), has been a doctoral researcher at the Department of Technical Physics, University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, Finland, since 2020. Also, since 2020 she has been an early-stage researcher at the Diagnostic Imaging Center, Kuopio University Hospital, Finland.
Her main research area is related to the hypoxic severity in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patients associated with impaired vigilance. Additionally, she focuses on respiratory events severity, hypoxic severity, and their association with lung-to-finger circulation time in OSA patients.
