2024 Sleep Medicine Examination Accepting Applications

The European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) is proud to announce that applications are open for the 13th Examination of Certification in Sleep Medicine and the 11th Examination of Certification in Sleep Medicine for Sleep Technologists.

The 2024 Sleep Medicine Examination will take place as an hybrid (on-line and on-site) exam in September 2024 alongside Sleep Europe 2024, the 27th Congress of the European Sleep Research Society.

Since the first examination offered in 2012, the ESRS has successfully certified more than 1300 individuals. Apply until 31 January 2024 for a chance to join the ranks of other ESRS-certified somnologists and somnologist-technologists.

For both examinations, the Second Edition of the Sleep Medicine Textbook (2021) is the core recommended reading. The textbook is published by the ESRS and can be ordered via the website.  

In order to support eligible examinees with the examination fee, the ESRS Board will also offer 6 grants of 250 EUR each, and includes one copy of the ESRS Sleep Medicine Textbook and free shipping.
